– Introduction of a Large-Scale Low-Pressure Casting Facility –

Kimura Foundry Co., Ltd. officially opened its Headquarters Technology Center in Shimizu-cho, Shizuoka, on February 2, 2026.

As part of our efforts to strengthen our prototype and development capabilities for aluminum automotive components, the new facility is equipped with a large-scale low-pressure casting system.

In recent years, the growing demand for vehicle electrification and lightweight design has accelerated the need for aluminum components that are not only higher in quality and precision but also larger in size. With the introduction of this new equipment, we are now capable of producing prototypes of large aluminum castings, enabling us to meet an even wider range of development requirements.
