Kimura Foundry Co., Ltd. held the opening ceremony for KIMURA FOUNDRY INDIA PVT. LTD. on January 21, 2025.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Mr. Nakane, Consul General of Japan in Bengaluru, as well as many partners and supporters who have contributed to our activities over the years. Following a traditional Indian inauguration ceremony, we officially commenced our business operations in India.

KIMURA FOUNDRY INDIA has established its office within the campus of the Karnataka German Technical Training Institute (KGTTI), where Kimura Foundry has supported the establishment of a foundry training course through a JICA-sponsored project. Through this new base, we are entering the next stage of our business development in India.

Although KIMURA FOUNDRY INDIA does not operate manufacturing facilities, its mission is “Create new values by connecting values.” Guided by this vision, the company will provide a wide range of solutions tailored to customers’ diverse needs.

On the same day, Kimura Foundry and KGTTI also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding the use of KGTTI’s facilities. This agreement enables us to utilize the institute’s equipment and resources to further expand our activities in India.

Building on the expertise we have developed in Full mold casting, we will promote technical support for the Indian foundry industry, engineer training, and other initiatives that contribute to the advancement of casting technology in India.

We believe these efforts will not only support the growth of India’s foundry and manufacturing industries but also strengthen industrial collaboration between India and Japan.
